• Leaders of South Korea & Bangladesh Discuss Trade Imbalance

President Lee Myung-bak held a bilateral summit with the visiting Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday and agreed to boost bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas including trade. Officials who attended the summit say the two leaders agreed to expand exchanges between government agencies, non-governmental organizations and defense industry officials to boost bilateral trade and to address trade imbalances. Korea exported 1 billion US dollars worth of goods to Bangladesh last year while importing 122 million dollars worth of products.
